Wrapping a rare and special project tomorrow and am feeling low-key sad about it, but I’m going home home and will get to see my love and my family, so I’m pretty stoked. (I would’ve wrapped two days later if I wasn’t going home, so it’s not like home is the reason I’m wrapping).

Gillies to her feet, after she had “crashed” during a practice roller skating race at Roosevelt Field, The other skaters, all famous flyers, are Amelia Earhart, Frances H. Marsalis, and Elvy Kalep. They were rehearsing for a roller skating party to be held in an airplane hangar the following day under the auspices of the Ninety-Niners, a club composed of female aviators.
